At the end of July 2026, 21.4 thousand new cars and commercial vehicles were sold in Kazakhstan. This is 5.9% more than in the same month last year, according to the Kazakhstan Automobile Union (KAO). For 7 months, 127.3 thousand units of automotive equipment were sold, which is 1.7% more than the result of January-July 2025. The KAO notes that the country's car market maintains a high level. The competitive landscape is changing rapidly. Thus, the position of models of local production is strengthening, the choice is growing, and buyers have become more attentive not only to the cost of the vehicle, but also to the technologies, conditions of purchase and quality of after-sales service. The leader of the Kazakh car market in July was Hyundai, whose cars were sold in the amount of 3,712 units (+0.4% compared to July 2025). In second position is Chevrolet with a result of 2,855 units (-29.5%). In third place was Kia (2,492 units), whose car sales increased by 14.8%.
